Hello everyone, after several months of thinking I decided to go back to the source. That is to say, to do and create what I like the most. That is to say, a small game engine in C# with the Monogame library. In the past I had already participated in several Game Jams with this library and I had also learned XNA at the time thanks to an excellent book that unfortunately no longer exists. In fact, it is thanks to this book that I entered the wonderful world of C# and that I have never left for more than 15 years.

So here is what I will do in the coming months. I will create the game engine that I will call Cyclops Engine. I had already started to create it at the time but I will start it from scratch because with my experience acquired over time in C# I consider that it is not very very optimal. Instead of trying to fix the problems here and there, I will simply start it from scratch because it will probably be as long.

I will try to share with you each week the progress of the engine and I will also tell you about the problems encountered and how I was able to solve them.
